TriTech Customers Recognized for Intermunicipal Cooperation

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 2, 2017) – TriTech Software Systems congratulates Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, Albany County Sheriff's office, and Rensselaer County Bureau of Public Safety for receiving the Capital District Regional Planning Commission's Erastus Corning, 2nd Achievement Award for Intermunicipal Cooperation. The New York Capital Region's Counties of Saratoga, Albany, and Rensselaer were honored at the 50th Anniversary celebration on October 18, 2017 with the Achievement Award for intermunicipal work which promotes regional cooperation that brings solutions to community challenges.

Saratoga, Albany, and Rensselaer counties joined to form a network to develop and implement a shared public safety software system that includes TriTech’s Inform 911, Inform Computer-Aided Dispatch, Inform Mobile, and Inform RMS. The single, shared system provides access to information across the county agencies and software components, creating more informed agency employees who gain efficiencies with easily accessible information. The Award recognizes this group’s initiative for the significant improvements they are bringing to community public safety, as well as efficiencies gained across participating agencies and corresponding cost savings through this cooperative effort.

  • The Capital District Regional Planning Commission (CDRPC) promotes intergovernmental cooperation by fostering collaboration and coordination to find solutions to regional challenges and maximize opportunities. CDRPC celebrated its 50th Anniversary award ceremony on October 18, 2017 at the Franklin Plaza in Troy, NY. The Erastus Corning Achievement Award for Intermunicipal Cooperation is named in honor of the Commission’s first Chairman, Erastus Corning 2nd, Mayor of the City of Albany from 1942-1983.
  • Nominations were evaluated using the following criteria:
    • Demonstration of actual or potential improvement, efficiency, or cost savings as the result of the cooperative project or activity of individual;
    • Creation of new institutional capacity to solve a local or regional problem;
    • Community involvement and support;
    • Degree of innovative solutions to overcoming challenges.
