San Diego is a multi-cultural city with some of the finest beaches and weather anywhere in the world. People who live here are pretty used to sun and around 70 degrees. Located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean and adjacent to the Mexican border, San Diego is the eighth largest city in the U.S. and economically fueled by the military and defense-related activities, tourism, international trade, and manufacturing. You will also find some of the finest craft breweries, including more than 30 breweries within a 10-mile radius of the TriTech office. And if you like Mexican food, you will be in heaven. Actually, just about any kind of food can be found in the San Diego area, and the fish tacos and taco Tuesdays will make you look forward to the start of each week.
The San Diego office is made up of people from all over the San Diego County (4,526 square miles). There are surfers, brewers, mountain and road bikers, river dwellers, desert dogs, and all kinds of personalities that make this city and office a great place to live and work.
The office is located in the high tech area of San Diego where Qualcomm and many other hi-tech companies are headquartered. If you expand the radius a few more miles, you’ll find dozens of destinations that enrich life in the San Diego area, including the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Balboa Park, historic Old Town, the Gas Lamp District, Petco Park events, Little Italy, Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, and so much more! Beaches, theme parks, museums, restaurants with outdoor seating, nature trails, etc. make San Diego-ians happy that there isn’t an ‘indoor’ season in their hometown.

Special Annual Events:
For all of you Big Bang followers, Comic-Con began in 1970 when a group of comics, movie, and science fiction fans—including the late Shel Dorf, Ken Krueger, and Richard Alf—banded together to put on the first comic book convention in southern California. With attendance topping 130,000 in recent years it is the largest event each year in San Diego.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon
This annual event takes you through historic neighborhoods, including Balboa Park and Old Town. Runners in the full marathon, half-marathon, and relay races run along routes packed with live entertainment to keep them ‘rocking’ all the way to the finish line.
San Diego is home to the Holiday Bowl, one of the nation’s most exciting bowl games. Along with the football, the annual celebrations include a parade, tailgating, and plenty of other fun events.
