Extending the power of VisiNet Command to the field
VisiNet Mobile is a wireless PC-based mobile fleet application that seamlessly extends
VisiNet Command computer-aided dispatch (CAD) to in-vehicle laptop computers. The highly secure, wireless solution operates on a variety of commercial and proprietary wireless platforms, and provides FIPS 140-2 compliant access to mission-critical information while out in the field.
The solution is flexible and enables users to configure fields to meet their specific agency needs, and provides full messaging capabilities to bridge the communications gap between the dispatch center and field personnel. The integrated mapping, including satellite image overlays, is also a key component and assist units to quickly and accurately locate their destination, and for incident commanders to identify all units responding to a specific call.
