Several Public Safety Agencies Partner with TriTech Software Systems for on Public Safety Communication Upgrade Projects

Rural Metro Orlando and Sumter County (Florida)
Rural/Metro has acquired TriTech’s computer-aided dispatch and mobile data solutions to provide emergency and non-emergency ambulance services for Orlando and Sumter-County. Rural Metro’s recent contract for 911 ambulance services in Sumter County, the fifth fastest growing county in the nation by Forbes magazine, adds to its growing operations in Central Florida. Rural Metro Orlando and Sumter County join TriTech’s expanding list of Rural Metro clients including San Diego (CA), Maricopa County (AZ), Tucson (AZ) and Yuma (AZ).

North Island 9-1-1 Corporation (British Columbia)
North Island 9-1-1 Corporation will be upgrading their computer-aided dispatch and mobile data software to TriTech’s VisiNet Solutions platform to manage 9-1-1 communications services for northern Vancouver Island and the Powell River area of British Columbia, Canada. As the proven solution for many leading fire and EMS agencies, VisiCAD and VisiNet Mobile will enable North Island 9-1-1 Corporation to efficiently manage incident and resources for its 50 separate fire departments over a geographic area of 56,000 square kilometers.

Montgomery County Hospital District (Texas)
The Montgomery County Hospital District (MCHD) operates two communication centers, the Montgomery County Hospital District in Conroe and Woodlands Fire Department in Shenandoah, to provide call-taking and dispatch services for Montgomery County EMS and 14 fire departments. Covering 1,100 square miles and serving a population of 360,000, TriTech’s VisiCAD and VisiNet Mobile will enable the two communication centers to work seamlessly together in responding to approximately 70,000 calls for service annually.

Dane County (Wisconsin)
Dane County Public Safety Communications Center provides 911 emergency call-taking services countywide including Dane County Sheriff’s Department, Madison Police and Fire Departments as well as 21 local law enforcement, 26 local fire, and 21 local EMS agencies. After a thorough evaluation of proposals and demonstrations, a cross-functional team selected TriTech’s VisiCAD and VisiNet Mobile solutions. The combined solution provides a comprehensive incident and unit management system that allows Dane County communicators to efficiently manage their service area, incidents and resources to make informed and timely decisions.
