CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL – SACRAMENTO GOES LIVE ON TRITECH’S VISICAD COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH SYSTEM
TriTech Software Systems, the leading provider of public safety and medical transport solutions, proudly announces the first Go Live of VisiCAD computer-aided dispatch system for the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The first Go Live occurred at the Sacramento dispatch center which support 20 call-taker stations, seven dispatch stations and two supervisor stations. This is the first of four major Go Live events for CHP, the largest state patrol agency in the nation with approximately 7,300 uniformed and 3,200 civilian personnel, including more than one-thousand 911 call-takers and dispatchers.
The TriTech implementation for CHP – Sacramento includes the following systems and interfaces:

- VisiNet Browser
- ANI/ALI interface
- CLETS/NCIC and Local Records Check Interface
- Custom MDC Interface
- Custom AVL Interface
TriTech Software Systems was selected through its partner, Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. to provide a state-of-the-art computer-aided dispatch for CHP. Additional Go Live milestones include Golden Gate, Los Angeles and Inland hubs with complete implemention in 2012.
