CTECC The Combined Transportation, Emergency and Communications Center (CTECC) in Austin, Texas integrated multiple city, county and state agencies under one common operational platform utilizing TriTech's VisiCAD Command and VisiNet Mobile solutions. CTECC's vision was to create an interoprable environment and enable all of the participating agencies, departments and field personnel to function as a team as well as retain their existing agency requirements.

Technology and Teamwork: Joint Agency Response to the Minneapolis Bridge Disaster (MN)
The Interstate 35W (I‐35W) bridge collapse was the first major test of state emergency response systems developed after years of practice and special urgency following Sept. 11, 2001, and Hurricane Katrina, and the City of Minneapolis passed with flying colors. TriTech's VisiNet Command computer-aided dispatch system performed beyond expectations in support of the City’s response to the tragic bridge collapse. The system performed well under the increased load of call volume, searches, data entry, and automated vehicle location (AVL) recommendations, and Map updates. The CAD technology provided tremendous added value to dispatchers, first responders and the EOC Team.
