Data Interoperability and Regional Command & Control
The consolidation of public safety communication centers is becoming a widespread practice in order to promote information sharing and regional communication. TriTech's interoperability solutions enable agencies to achieve the goal of consolidating services and information sharing without consolidating the agencies. VisiNet's Advanced CAD-2-CAD Interface and Imc's Cross Agency Data Exchange solutions enable participating agencies to seamlessly share information to protect the larger community.
Clearwater Police and Pinellas County Sheriff (FL)
Advanced CAD‐2‐CAD Interface technology enables interoperability between two law enforcement agencies. Two law enforcement agencies in Florida have taken great strides to implement the technology and business practices necessary to achieve the goal of consolidating services without consolidating the agencies.
The Clearwater Police Department (CPD) and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) have implemented state of the art technology enabling their respective communications centers to share critical incident and resource information. VisiNet's Advanced CAD‐2‐CAD interface enables the PCSO and CPD VisiNet Command computer aided dispatch (CAD) and VisiNet Mobile data systems to seamlessly transfer incident information and updates, along with the ability to view locations and statuses of each agency’s resources for efficient incident response and enhanced mutual aid.

Dartmouth Police and Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (MA)
With Imc Cross Agency, users receive real‐time access to master name and case report information from other Imc departments in their Cross Agency network. Currently, 25 neighboring police departments are on Dartmouth's Cross Agency network.
Within hours after the Police Department in Dartmouth, Massachusetts went live on Cross Agency, one of their officers obtained information through Cross Check that was key to making an arrest for an offense that took place in a neighboring town.
